Stuff You Should Know.

Hello again fellow players. I hope.

Some of you have problems understanding the complicated system that the game applies to the weapons and warframes, I`ll make a quick guide that you can use until you get the hang of it.

I will link all essential pages to the original source as I don`t want this post to be 3 meters long. Just click on the bold name to go to the page.

1. What the hell is FORMA?

You can use it to change the POLARITY of your weapon to suit better mods. If the slot you equip the mod on has the same polarity, it will only consume half the ammount as the original mod would. Consequently, adding a mod over a polarity that doesnt match will increase it`s cost by 2. The aura works the same. You can change the polarity of any weapon and warframe any amount of time you want but it needs to be RANK 30 to use the FORMA and it will de-level the weapon/warframe to RANK 0.

You can obtain FORMA BLUEPRINT and FORMA from OROKIN VOID.

2. What is an OROKIN REACTOR and CATALYST?

You can use the REACTOR to double the amount of points you have on a WARFRAME. This means that instead of having 30 points at RANK 30 you will have 60. Add an aura with the same polarity and you can get a total of 74 points. Awesome, huh?

(Sentinels and Kubrows also need REACTOR).

You can use the CATALYST to do the same things, but catalysts are used for WEAPONS not for warframes. That`s the only difference.

3. What is STATUS EFFECT and what is the difference between PUNCTURE, IMPACT and SLASH damage?

Well, as you can find out from the websites:

PUNCTURE damage works better against GRINEER.

IMPACT damage works better against CORPUS.

SLASH damage works better against INFESTED.

That means that you have to carefuly select the weapon you are using for different missions.

STATUS EFFECTS are of 2 types, PRIMARY, the Cold, Heat, Elecricity and Toxic. And also, COMBINED effects, which are Viral, Blast, Corrosive, Gas, Magnetic and Radiation.

Each of these effects have a different impact on the enamies, according to this DAMAGE 2.0 TABLE. Check it out and build your weapon accordingly.
